General Policies

MEDICAL HISTORY

In order to attend Farm Day, please submit the following, due June 1st:

  • A current physical examination signed by your child’s pediatrician 

  • A current record of immunizations 

WEATHER RELATED CLOSINGS/ EARLY PICK UPS

This program is proud to be exclusively outdoors. We operate during light rain. If the weather is rainy, please send your child in rain gear— rain boots and jacket (and rain pants if you have them! ).

In case of forecasted heavy rain and/or thunderstorms, parents/guardians will be notified by text and email that camp is cancelled for the day.

Refunds for days cancelled due to weather will come in the form of credit for the following summer.

In the event that inclement weather arises unexpectedly during the morning, parents/guardians will be contacted to pick up early. Please be sure to have someone on call each day in case of early pick up.

1 Hog Creek Lane, East Hampton

The property is on the corner of Springs Fireplace Road and Hogs Creek Lane. Nearby is a Hogs Creek Road- so be sure to put Hog Creek LANE into your map to find us.

Note that cell reception is spotty out in Springs! Please check the map before you leave on your first day.

LOCATION

PARKING

Pull into the driveway at 1 Hog Creek Lane; you will see the farm field to your right as soon as you pull in. Every Monday, a greeter will be there to help guide you.

WHAT TO BRING

FOOD

Please send your child with a small snack and a hearty NUT-FREE LUNCH to eat each day. We will be harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables from the fields to nibble on, as well.

CLOTHING

Campers should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty at camp and sturdy shoes; flip flops are not advised. All clothing should be labeled with the camper’s first and last names. 


In addition, please send your child with a bag containing:

  • water bottle

  • complete change of clothes

  • rain gear (rainy days only)

  • sun hat

WHAT NOT TO BRING

We ask that campers do not bring toys, electronics, or trinkets to camp. Dogs and other pets should not accompany campers at drop-off and pick up.

MISC.

ABSENCES & WITHDRAWALS

Due to limited enrollment, neither refunds nor make-up days can be given for absences, changes or withdrawals made after May 1st.

DAY GUESTS

Campers may invite a guest to camp for a day, pending availability and the approval of the program director. The day guest must be an appropriate age for the group, and must submit a registration form. The fee for a day guest is $199 per day. A day guest of 3 or more days will be charged a full week rate.
